He brings 12 years of newsroom leadership and service journalism experience, from metro beats to national lifestyle desks. His expertise includes explanatory reporting, audience development, and translating research into everyday action. He has received a regional Society of Professional Journalists award for solutions reporting. Off duty, Benjamin is a weekend cook and a trail runner. At Articles Ahead he sets editorial standards, coaches writers, leads special projects, and ensures every story delivers clear value to readers.

Elijah Smith – Life, Parenting, and Relationships Editor
Elijah earned an M.Ed. in Counseling and a B.S. in Psychology and has 9 years of experience writing evidence informed guidance for families, teachers, and community programs. His specialties include communication skills, conflict resolution, developmental milestones, and healthy tech habits for kids and teens. He has presented at a regional educators conference and contributed to nonprofit curriculum guides. Elijah enjoys jazz piano, board games, and long city walks. He edits our parenting line, writes relationships explainers and conversation templates, and partners with the news desk when social trends affect family life.

Lucas Johnson – Culture and Tech Features Editor
Lucas holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Information Science and has 8 years in digital publishing across culture, creator economy, and consumer tech. He focuses on internet culture, personal knowledge systems, privacy basics, and approachable app workflows. His features have been highlighted by several community newsletters for clarity and tone. Outside work he is a street photographer and a notebook tinkerer. Lucas manages features and guides that sit between culture and technology, develops our style for tutorials, and mentors contributors on sourcing and verification.

Oliver Smith – Tips, Tricks, and Life Hacks Editor
Oliver graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and spent 6 years in process improvement roles before moving to lifestyle writing. He specializes in time saving systems, checklists, home organization, and travel logistics, with a knack for testing hacks in the real world. He received an internal innovation award for a workplace simplification project. Oliver is a coffee enthusiast and a weekend cyclist. He runs our tips library, designs printable resources, and stress tests each hack to separate what works from what only sounds clever.
